What Is a LoL Ping Test?

LoL Ping Test Pro is a free tool that measures the network latency (ping) between your computer and the League of Legends servers in milliseconds. Lower ping means a smoother, more responsive and fairer game; high ping causes lag and stutter.

How Does It Work?

The tool sends successive requests from your browser to the LoL server and measures each round-trip time. From that data it calculates:

• Average Ping: your overall latency.
• Jitter: the variation in ping; lower is better.
• Packet Loss: the ratio of requests that never arrive.
• Stability: how consistent your connection is.

What Is a Good Ping for LoL?

• 🟢 0-30 ms: Excellent — ideal for competitive play.
• 🔵 30-60 ms: Good — a smooth experience.
• 🟡 60-100 ms: Fair — noticeable delay.
• 🔴 100 ms and above: Poor — clear stutter.

Does the browser test match my in-game ping exactly?

No, it is not identical. A browser-based measurement is affected by DNS, TLS and caching. The result is a strong indicator of your real latency, but it may differ slightly from the ping shown in the game client.

How can I lower my LoL ping?

• Use a wired (Ethernet) connection instead of Wi-Fi.
• Close apps that download or stream in the background.
• Restart your router.
• For persistently high ping, contact your internet provider.
